The Long Beach AYSO Region 114 U10 All-Stars have been on a memorable run, winning the Region 114, Area 112, and Section 11 championships with an 8-0 start. The Heartwell Park kids are heading to the Western States Final Four Tournament on March 12, two wins away from being crowned the best AYSO squad in the Western United States. Long Beach native and former Dirtbag/MLB player Mike Gallo is the head coach and Jeff Tolen is the assistant coach. The athletes are students at Newcomb, Cubberley, and other LBUSD elementary schools.
The Region 114 All-Stars are: Cole Kearby, Hudson Hanley, Richard Cardenas, Ezekiel Mejia, Mateo Canizales, Mateo Medina, Theodore Mangan, Anthony Mercurius, Evan Gallo, and Jesse Tolen.
