The individual accolades keep rolling in for Wilson senior Alyson Sor. She won a third Moore League title last month, and this week she’s moving on to CIF State competition.
Sor shot a 1-under par round at Brookside Golf Course on Thursday to finish fifth and advance to the CIF State Championship at San Gabriel Country Golf Course on Wednesday. It looked like she was going to miss the cut at 2-over par with five holes to play, but Sor birdied three of those holes to make the cut.
This is the second consecutive year that Wilson has a qualifier for the CIF State competition after Emi Sverduk won the CIF State Southern Regional last year.
