Rahkeen Moore, Lakewood Football

Lakewood DT Rahkeen Moore led a dominant defensive effort for the Red Swarm in a shutout win at Wilson, which puts the Lancers back in the playoff hunt needing just one more win to get into the postseason.

JJ Nielsen, Jordan Football

Jordan quarterback JJ Nielsen put up six touchdowns in a win for the Panthers over Cabrillo, their sixth of the season, giving them a plus-.500 record which increases their chances of an at-large playoff bid.

Allanah Smith, Wilson Volleyball

Wilson senior Allanah Smith had a pair of big matches for Wilson in two playoff wins last week, including 18 kills and three aces in a second-round win over Serrano to put the Bruins into this week’s quarterfinals.

Alyson Sor, Wilson Golf

Wilson’s Alyson Sor won her third Moore League girls’ golf title last week, tying the overall low score record in Moore League history. Sor shot a 36-hole score of 135 to tie Ali Morallos’ record.
