Lakewood’s Williams, Poly’s Faumuina Named Under-Armour All-Americans

There was no doubt that this year was going to be a special one for the Moore League in girls’ volleyball, and sure enough, a pair of honors for local players last week clinched it. Lakewood senior Laura Williams and Poly senior Adonia Faumuina were both named Under-Armour All-Americans, and will play in the UA All-American Volleyball match in Orlando, FL on December 30.

Williams is committed to Oregon State and Faumuina is committed to USC.

The match, which will be televised live on ESPN U, will feature the top 24 high school players in the country–two of them will be from the Moore League.
