It was a night to celebrate in North Long Beach. Jordan was hosting its Homecoming game against Compton, and came up with a big win, 20-13. It’s the Panthers’ first Moore League win since a late October defeat of Millikan in 2016.
Compton led 13-0 at halftime but a pair of touchdowns by Jakob “Texas” Smith put Jordan up 14-13 with 9:45 left in the game. A touchdown pass from Isaac Ochoa to Jaylon Morgan put Jordan up 20-13.
The Panthers (4-2, 1-2) will host Wilson next week.
