Avalon 8-man football is back on the road Saturday to face Animo Robinson in a nonleague clash. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
The Lancers (1-1) are looking to get back on track after a disappointing 40-36 loss at Foothills Christian last week. Despite the loss, quarterback Antonio Ramos and receiver Beto Martinez broke school passing records for the second straight week. Ramos went 14/17 for 300 yards and 105 yards rushing. Martinez finished with 365 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns.
