Compton kept the 2019 season rolling in perfect fashion after a 26-14 win over Santa Monica on Friday night, improving their record to 2-0.

Compton was led by Jaishawn Smith’s three touchdowns and another score from Bill Wilson. Smith had 12 carries for 91 yards, the three scores, and an interception. Jaheim Hunt had 22 carries for 121 yards and an interception on defense. Keilan White had nine tackles and a pass break up.

Compton will host West Adams and Dominguez the next two weeks as they try to finish the non league schedule undefeated.
