The Avalon girls’ volleyball team is off to an undefeated 12-0 start, fresh off a straight sets sweep of Milken Academy, led by Virginia Soto’s 13 kills, 18 assists, 9 digs, and three aces.
Avalon also won the Liberty Christian Tournament with an undefeated 10-0 run that saw the Lancers not drop a single set. Soto was named tournament MVP after notching 70 kills, 100 assists, 83 digs, and 24 aces in the 10 sweeps.
