Long Beach State trailed by as many as 16 points in the second half against CSUN, but came back to win the game, 80-78. Long Beach trailed with less than a second left but Deishuan Booker drew a foul on a 3-point attempt with .8 seconds remaining, and calmly stepped to the line to drain all three free throws.
Booker is shooting 90% from the charity stripe on the year and is closing in on the Big West’s single-season made FTs record. Long Beach State improved to 10-18, 4-8 on the season.
