CIF Boys’ Soccer: Wilson Falls At Mater Dei In Quarterfinals

The Wilson boys’ soccer team had its historic season ended at Mater Dei on Wednesday in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals.

It looked like the Bruins had scored the game winning goal late in regulation, but it was disallowed due to an offsides call. Mater Dei went on to win the game in overtime 2-1.

CIF D1 Quarterfinal: Wilson goal rescinded in the 1st min by referees, claimed there was a player who was offsides and blocking the vision of the goalkeeper. Lost on OT but proud of these players who SHOWED UP to SHOW OFF this year! You played with CORAZON! You made Wilson proud!

Wilson won its first Moore League title in 12 years this season.
