PREVIEW: Millikan at Culver City CIF Girls’ Volleyball

Division 3: Millikan @ Culver City, 6 p.m.

It wasn’t the regular season that the Rams (18-13) were hoping for, as they fell to fourth place in the Moore League after having forced a third-place tie with Wilson in 2017. That said, the playoffs are a chance to bounce back, although they’ll have their hands full on the road against 26-2 Culver City, the champions of the Ocean League.

Rams coach Jan Green said her team is ready to hit the road and try to come up with an upset.

“We’re excited for the opportunity,” she said. “We’re looking forward to competing and giving it all we’ve got.”

If Millikan can pull off an upset they’d face the winner of Sage Hill and Mission Viejo.
