Alden Darby Returning To Millikan For Rally

On March 28 the Howard Lyon Gym at Millikan High will host the Light Up The Night Rally from 7-8:30 p.m. with celebrities, prizes and games. The theme is ‘Finishing strong and leaving a legacy’ and organizers want students to wear white.

Millikan alum Alden Darby will be speaking and awarding five students in need with a shopping trip funded by him. Darby led the Rams football team to the historic overtime win over Long Beach Poly in 2009. He went to Arizona State and was on the practice squad with four NFL franchises. Darby, 25, is currently with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.

The Light Up The Night Rally will also include performances from Millikan cheer, band, gymnastics, drama and choir plus a celebrity appearance by Serayah from the television show Empire.
