Long Beach State Women’s Water Polo Wins Fourth Straight

The Long Beach State women’s water polo team celebrated senior night and scored timely goals in an 8-5 win over Bucknell on Thursday at Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center. LBSU (9-9, 1-0) has won four consecutive games, and eight of the last nine.

Sophomore Isabel Riely and senior Raney Remme each scored a team-high two goals. Junior goalkeeper Eirini Patras finished with six saves, and held Bucknell scoreless in the fourth quarter. 

LBSU continues Big West Conference play at No. 10 UC Davis on Saturday.
