The No 8-ranked Long Beach State beach volleyball team posted a pair of big wins on Thursday, defeating No. 4 Florida State and TCU at the LBSU Sand Courts.
The win over the Seminoles was huge for the 49ers (7-1), who hadn’t beaten a top five program yet this year after a narrow 3-2 defeat to top-ranked Pepperdine last week.
Long Beach State will return to the LBSU Sand Courts for another tri-dual on Thursday, March 22 when the Beach hosts No. 18 Washington and Vanguard.
