Moore League Girls’ Soccer: Millikan, Poly, Lakewood Win

The top four teams in the Moore League were all in action on Thursday, and none of them gave up a goal.

Millikan 2, Cabrillo 0
The Rams (5-3-1, 2-0-0) got goals from juniors Sammy Sierra and Nicole Peckham. Senior midfielder Karli Slater had both assists, while goalkeepers Savanna Alba and Samantha Pearson shared time for the shutout. Cabrillo (7-3-1, 0-2-1) won’t play again until Dec. 20 at Poly.

Lakewood 12, Compton 0
The Lancers (2-5-0, 2-2-0) picked up a road win. Paige Borders scored a hat trick, and senior goalkeeper Tatiana Bullock had the shutout. Compton (2-5-0, 0-3-0) hasn’t scored a league goal.

Long Beach Poly 9, Jordan 0
The Jackrabbits (4-0-0, 3-0-0) stayed undefeated with a win on the road as Natalia Lopez, Angela Bigham, Isabella Yakel, Jenny Skrumbis, Allanah Cutler, Morgan King, Kelsey Adams, Skylar Herrera and Aniah Cutler all scored goals. Jordan (0-3-2, 0-2-1) travels to Compton on Tuesday.

Wilson 0, Mayfair 0
The Bruins (3-1-2, 2-0) played a scoreless draw with the visiting Monsoons (3-2-3) in nonleague action. Wilson sophomore goalkeeper Daniella Uchio collected her fourth clean sheet of the season.
