Avalon had a great afternoon at Lakewood on Saturday as they completed their undefeated season after picking up a 3-1 win against Hamilton to claim the All-City Division 3 girls’ volleyball titile.
With the loud crowd cheering on both teams, Franklin rallied in the fourth set to defeat Marshall for the All-City Division 2 girls’ volleyball title.
It was an exciting morning at Lakewood High School on Saturday. In the Long Beach Unified School District All-City Division 1 Girl’s Volleyball championship, Stanford defeated Rogers 3-1. Stanford lost to Rogers when they played during the regular season, but got the Hawks got their revenge in the championship game.
