We began our internship program in 2020 with a pair of Long Beach State University journalism students, and expanded the program to include LBUSD high school students beginning with the 2021-22 school year.
We currently offer eight paid internship positions each school year, allowing LBUSD high school students to receive hands-on training in writing, photography, videography, social media, and all other aspects of sports journalism.
