Long Beach Poly’s boys’ volleyball team went on the road and won a first-round thriller in the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs yesterday, taking down Dana Hills in five sets.
The Jackrabbits (21-11) will now host Chino Hills on Thursday at Lakewood High at 6pm (Poly’s gym is being used for the Moore League badminton finals this week).
Wilson fell in the first round of the playoffs. Meanwhile, Moore League champion Millikan will travel to Newport Harbor today for a Division 1 opener, and Jordan will travel to Jurupa Valley tonight for a Division 7 opener.
