The Millikan Rams continued their Moore League boys’ golf dominance with another impressive performance on the green. The Rams hosted the Cabrillo Jags for a “Senior Day” win, taking down the visitors 208-275.
This victory moves Millikan up to 6-0 undefeated play in the Moore League with less than two weeks until the Individual Tournament.
Fittingly on Senior day, it was the upperclass Rams who led their team to the win. Seniors Daniel Anderson and Tyler Price were the top golfers for Millikan, both shooting a score of 40. They were supported by fellow senior Gabriel Romero, who had a 41 on the day.
On the visiting squad, Joe Gogue had the lowest score for the Jaguars with 49. Both teams will tee off on more time Thursday, with Cabrillo hosting Wilson at Skylinks and Millikan traveling to Recreation Park to face Long Beach Poly.
