Long Beach State Women’s Volleyball upset UC Davis, who was sitting at the top of the standings, in a four-set win 25-19, 25-15, 14-25 and 25-23.
Freshman Logan King led the Beach with 16 kills, followed by Sidney Hamaker with 14 kills on .423 hitting. Four seniors were honored on the night in Elise Agi, Rhiann Sheffie, Nieko Thomas and Tatum Hoff.
Long Beach is back in action Tuesday against UC San Diego as they finish their season on the road.
