The first two days of the Moore League Individual Tournament have wrapped up as we head into the final day which kicks off today.
Millikan senior Hailey Stoskopf started the tournament strong, leading the 34 players with an even par score of 36 in the first round. She kept the lead through the second day too, maintaining a 5 stroke advantage over sophomore teammate Jasmine Lim.
Wilson’s Charlotte White had a successful first day in the tournament on Tuesday. She had a round of 42 to sit in 2nd place. Janelle Pulido shot a 43, giving the Rams a strong showing in the first round with 5 of the top 7 spots being held by Millikan golfers.
For the second round on Wednesday, Long Beach Poly’s Kara Teter had the low round of the day with a 39. This score allowed her to climb the rankings, currently sitting in third place to add some more school representation to the top golfers.
The final round of the Individual Tournament will take place today with 18 holes at Recreation Park Golf Course.
