The last 48 hours have been good to the Wilson beach volleyball team.
After clinching their fourth straight Moore League title on Wednesday, the Bruins put the final touches on an undefeated league run after defeating Millikan 3-2 at Long Beach City College Thursday afternoon.
Simrin Adams and Sadie Calderone continued their dominant run as they swept the first flight 21-10, 21-15.
However, Millikan didn’t back down as the final four flights went to a third set after the Rams went 4-0 in the second set in each match and took a 2-1 lead after winning flights two and three.
The Bruins pulled out the wins in the final two flights as Dani Dobie and Sage Darling while Charlie Ginsberg and Alex Beverly won 22-20, 11-21, 15-9.
Millikan and Wilson will now prepare for the Moore League finals next Wednesday.
