The Long Beach State women’s basketball team got its first win of the season over Hope International, prevailing 68-62 on Monday night in the LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid. The Beach got 23 points from JaQuoia Jones-Brown in the victory. The win improves LBSU’s record to 1-11 on the season. They’ll travel to Cal Poly Saturday as they resume Big West play.
