Winter sports are officially getting underway with basketball leading the charge. The Moore League girls’ basketball scene is looking a little different this year after some big names graduated in the spring – but there’s still history to be made.
After an undefeated 12-0 in-league record won them their 19th consecutive Moore League championship, Long Beach Poly is continuing to chase records. They’ve notched 211 consecutive Moore League wins, just eight shy of the all-time state record, according to Cal-Hi Sports.
