Either Cabrillo or Jordan will pick up their first Moore League win of the season on Thursday night, as the Jags host Homecoming to close out the 2025 regular season.
Two brand new head coaches will lead their teams into the 710 Rivalry for the first time, as Cabrillo’s Malcolm Manuel and Jordan’s Alfred Rowe are both hoping to end the year on a positive note.
Both teams enter the contest at 1-8 overall and are coming off losses to two of the league’s top teams. Jordan lost 49-12 at Wilson while Cabrillo lost 72-0 against Long Beach Poly last Friday.
In last year’s meeting, J-Town earned a 47-21 victory to close out the regular season in North Long Beach. The Panthers have won the last four meetings between these programs, with Cabrillo’s last win coming back in 2019, when the Jags won 20-14.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Jaguar Stadium.
