It was a great first week of the playoffs for the Long Beach sports teams, as Long Beach Poly’s flag football and girls’ volleyball teams both got through to week two along with Compton’s flag team and Millikan’s girls’ volleyball team. This week sees the start of the water polo playoffs as well, with football brackets dropping on Sunday.
