Cabrillo got a dominating 34-8 win over LA Jordan last week and will try to carry that momentum over into their next match up against Banning.
Even with a 1-1 record, Cabrillo has proved that their fast-paced offense will be a problem for any team they face.
Junior Danny Lopez has been a force for the Jags so far. He scored a touchdown last week along with showing his strength on both sides of the ball against Artesia.
Freshman Stephen Walker has also been having some success on the West Side, where he had two touchdowns last week against LA Jordan and another one vs. Artesia.
Banning is off to a 2-0 start and will look to stay undefeated as they host Cabrillo this week. Their offensive power lies in their junior class with quarterback Noa Tuvalu and running back Alonzo Ruiz.
Tuvalu has 309 total yards on the year, with 261 of those being in the air for passing yards. Ruiz leads the Pilots in touchdowns scored, where he has already taken six to the house.
Kickoff is set for 7 pm in Wilmington.
