Five Long Beach teams have qualified, with recent CIF-SS champions St Anthony boys’ and girls’ basketball as well as CIF-SS finalists Long Beach Poly boys’ basketball, Lakewood girls’ basketball, and Lakewood boys’ soccer.

Tough one tonight for Long Beach State as they drop their 7th in a row. Long Beach native Derek Valdez came in to finish off the win for the Rainbow Warriors, covering the final 2 innings and getting a K to end it.
