CIF Track: St. Anthony’s Atkinson Shines On Big Day For Saints

Saturday’s CIF-SS Division 4 Track & Field Finals were another sign that the St. Anthony program has arrived. The Saints brought home third-place in the girls’ team standings, and saw sophomore sensation Asjah Atkinson bring home two gold medals.

Atkinson won the girls’ 100 hurdles race with a time of 14.18, the best of any division, and then took the gold in the long jump as well, with a leap of 18-8.25. The sophomore advanced to the CIF-SS Masters Meet next Saturday in both events.
