Diving: Millikan’s Jenna Sonnenberg Sets Record, Wins CIF-SS Championship

Millikan junior Jenna Sonnenberg won her second CIF Southern Section diving championship this week, and set a new CIF-SS Division 2 scoring record in the process, putting up a 596.70 with her 11 dives. Sonnenberg won the chamionship last year with a score of 514.30.

It was a great day overall for the Moore League as Long Beach Poly’s Sydney Wren, Millikan’s Taylor Schwarz, and Poly’s Emma Robinett finished in sixth, seventh, and eighth place. That gives the league four of the top eight divers in the CIF-SS Finals meet.
