Congratulations to this week’s College Athlete of the Week honorees!

Ashley Coleman, Long Beach State Softball

Coleman threw a no-hitter against Loyola Marymount last weekend, earning Big West Player of the Week honors as she allowed just one base-runner on a walk. It was the 31st no-hitter in scool history.

Herman Day, Long Beach State Track

Herman Day broke his own meet record in the decathlon at the UC Spring Classic, amassing 7,410 points in the 10 events. That’s the highest score in the nation in 2019.
