The Long Beach Poly football team has announced its final schedule, which include a big change. The Jackrabbits had Narbonne on the schedule, but the Gauchos had an offer for an ESPN game.
“They had a big opportunity with a nationally televised game and so we let them out of the contract,” said Poly boys’ athletic director Rob Shock.
The Jackrabbits added a big premier game with a contest against Punahou at Moorpark in the Brother in Arms Classic on 8/31.
“With the void in our schedule we are very happy to pick up a quality opponent in Punahou,” said Poly coach Stephen Barbee. “They’ve had quite a bit of success and we’re looking forward to opening our season against them.”
