The second annual Luke Tatsu Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament & Dinner Event at Recreation Park Golf Course is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 12, and players can register online.

Luke Johnson, who was a golfer at Wilson High, lost his battle with Leukemia in June 2016. Last year, in an effort dedicated to his legacy, and to raise money for scholarships and childhood cancer cures, the Johnson family formed the Luke Tatsu Johnson Foundation. In June at Wilson’s Baccalaureate ceremony, Todd and Rena Johnson awarded eight Wilson golfers with scholarships in Luke’s name.
